Manufacturing Snow Elements Requires Consistent Quality Snow

Nallikari Winter Village northern Finland is famous for its many impressive snow sculptures, and behind these skillful creations is a team of diligent workers who utilize the Vipermetal screening bucket in the manufacturing of snow blocks. The construction of the winter village requires large and durable snow blocks, from which stunning sculptures and structures are created. For this reason, the snow material used must also meet the set criteria.

The goal of the process is to transform uneven quality snow, that is, brittle, clumped, and icy snow mass into consistent and easily moldable snow, which can be pressed into the desired shape using specially made element molds. By screening the snow into molds, beautiful and durable snow blocks can be produced, serving as the foundation for the winter village’s constructions.

The uses of the screening bucket can vary depending on the location and need, making it an exceptionally useful tool in the handling of snow and ice as well. It’s important to remember that the applications of Vipermetal screening buckets are not limited to traditional screening, but they can perform a variety of tasks depending on what a particular project or season demands.

The Winter Village is the Centerpiece of Winter Activities

The Winter Village has been constructed for several years now and has become one of the traditional winter visitation sites in the area. On-site, you can get acquainted with reindeer, children can ride ATVs, tube slides and toboggan sleds offer speed, and sleigh rides and a snow labyrinth bring their own adventure to the mix. The familiar Silly Cups from the amusement park and the Magic Carousel spinning indoors at the Carousel Pavilion top off a memorable day.

Located in the city Oulu’s Nallikari in northern Finland, the Winter Village opens its doors this year on February 10th and remains open until the beginning of April. The Winter Village offers northern exoticism, and the snowy environment of the Winter Village also accommodates various activities from team competitions to a trip on the sea ice or even snow sculpture contests.

The Winter Village receives many visitors annually and has secured its place in the hearts of many people. So, if you happen to be visiting in the direction of Oulu, make sure to also drop by the Nallikari Winter Village!
