Nallikari Winter Village northern Finland is famous for its many impressive snow sculptures, and behind these skillful creations is a team of diligent workers who utilize the Vipermetal screening bucket in the manufacturing of snow blocks. The construction of the winter village requires large and durable snow blocks, from which stunning sculptures and structures are created. For this reason, the snow material used must also meet the set criteria.
The goal of the process is to transform uneven quality snow, that is, brittle, clumped, and icy snow mass into consistent and easily moldable snow, which can be pressed into the desired shape using specially made element molds. By screening the snow into molds, beautiful and durable snow blocks can be produced, serving as the foundation for the winter village’s constructions.

Located in the city Oulu’s Nallikari in northern Finland, the Winter Village opens its doors this year on February 10th and remains open until the beginning of April. The Winter Village offers northern exoticism, and the snowy environment of the Winter Village also accommodates various activities from team competitions to a trip on the sea ice or even snow sculpture contests.
